Totems
When I'm in the mountains, I'm surrounded by mountains.
When I'm in the desert, by sand and rock.
At the office, by people and their bodies.
In the forest, by rivers and trees.
When I'm at home I bring the world inside. I like it there, beneath the
roof, swimming before my eyes,
cupped in my hand,
manipulated, observed
this great festival of life,
talking to me.
